The Core and The Abs
First and foremost, the core and the abs are not the same thing. Sit-ups, crunches, Russian twists and 100s ARE NOT core exercises. They are ab exercises. Training these exercises will not give you a strong core but will give you strong (and often overactive) abs. This may sound great but if your abs are TOO STRONG it will often make your true deep core muscles weak.
